Sep. 24th, 2014 09:11 pmKismet Loop (KL) is a direct sequel to Re/Alignment (RA). Some of the text seen in various information pages of the KL communities has been copied from RA information pages with the permission of the RA Mods.
We at KL would like to take a moment to show our appreciation to the Mods, Help Staff, and players of RA. Without them, KL would not have been born. We will always remember fondly the CR built up in RA, and cherish the chance to continue on in KL.
RA was centered around a city called The Haven, set on a Cybertron new and untouched by culture, wild and untamed...and facing the threat of Unicron. With a dimensional rift torn through the sky, known as the Lambda, the Firstforged worked with the refugees who had been dropped through this rift to prepare for the coming of Primus, and the inevitable coming of Unicron.
In August 2014 IRL, Unicron finally made his move to break through the Lambda and enter this reality. The Firstforged and the refugees made their stands, most against Unicron...and some with him. In the end, Unicron was defeated, and RA came to an end.
In October 2014 IRL, KL kicked off with a bang, picking up mere days after the set end of RA. The surviving refugees were caught in a dimensional explosion as the Lambda was suddenly and violently ripped apart. Many awoke together in this place, at once familiar and alien. Others have not been seen again.
I wish to express special thanks to the co-mods who have stepped up to the plate with me to help get this game off the ground. Thank you, Dragon, Ryo, and Katt. Your help has been invaluable. I also wish to express my thanks to Lylith, Ryo, and Ty for some of the amazing art they have made for us, especially made to use as icons for KL NPCs.
And finally, a thank-you to the players, both those who followed on the journey from RA to KL and those who have joined since, thank you. None of this would have been possible for me to do alone. You’re all amazing, and it’s an honor to share this game with all of you.
